FAITH

19 Feb 2023

Description

The Living Bread of God Manna from Above Daniel 3:12-18 THE UNWAVERING FAITH Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. Faith sees the invisible, believes the unbelievable, and receives the impossible. When studying the topic of Faith, it is essential to see what Jesus said about it. These three friends, shows us what is like an unwavering faith: 1. Going against the flow – v 12-14 – God’s will should always prevail and not to be a man pleaser. 1 Samuel 17:45 Then David said to the Philistine, “You come to me with a sword and with a spear and with a javelin, but I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. 2. Fight a good fight of faith – v 17 - The only way to learn strong faith is to endure great trials. 1 Peter 3:15 but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect. 3. To die is gain – v 18 – in living with Christ, dead to sin is essential and it is gain for us. Christians in difficult situations often pray to God for strength. It is their Faith in God's ability to make them strong that will give them the strength they need for any situation. Psalm 23:4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. Be faithful in small things because it is in them that your strength lies. My faith will never diminish as I hold to God all the more. Amen amen Shalom shalom....
