Ageless Radiance Club

Dr. Steven Cohen | Highlights Season 3

13 Jul 2022

Description

He’s recognised by his peers as one of the best plastic surgeons in America, if not the world, particularly for his treatment of children and adults with severe craniofacial disorders, and is a pioneer in regenerative cell therapies used in cardiology, orthopaedic surgery and aesthetics, as well as a gifted artist and inventor. Dr. Steven Cohen is in private practice in San Diego and a Clinical Professor of Plastic Surgery at the University of California, San Diego.  Dr. Cohen has a provisional patent on his technique of anatomic and regenerative fat grafting, and Injectable Tissue Replacement and Regeneration. He also recently submitted a patent for new tools for hydro-dissection of subcutaneous tissue during facelift surgery. In this episode, Dr Cohen shares his insight and experience on how regenerative medicine is used to model the way we age, the future of using our own biological tissue for skin rejuvenation and the role regenerative medicine plays in both prevention, treatment and reversal of disease- including ageing. Whilst stem cell therapy is not available in Australia for cosmetic procedures, Dr Cohen’s insights provide a preview of the future of aesthetics and surgical intervention. He offers his extensive research and knowledge on repairing the most common harms to the skin such as sun damage, restoring face volume and treating loss of firmness.
