Icy Ling | Highlights Season 5

Beijing Born and living in Sydney since 2001, Icy Ling started her first blog in 2003, documenting her life stories as an overseas student and quickly gathered a following of young Chinese women who were also studying abroad just like her. Following her graduation from University, Icy got her first beauty job at Clinique and worked her way up in Beauty Retail whilst also freelancing for several Chinese publications as their  Beauty expert and later Beauty Editor. In 2020 Icy launched her own digital media agency IC&Co and is a regular commentator, influencer and spokesperson for brands including Ultraformer, creating beautiful visual and educational content for her audience. Her sartorial style and digital presence is both fresh and avante garde with an unmistakable sense of fun and luxury. At 37 Icy could easily pass for a woman in her 20’s with her impeccable skin, playful energy and signature mane.   I invited Icy to join me to discuss the changing face of Asian beauty, the treasured lessons about beauty rituals and self image she has learned from her Chinese heritage and what she is most excited about in the wellness and aesthetics space.
