This podcast series details our most recent publication '2022 Trustworthy Artificial Intelligence in the Asia-Pacific Region'. The report provides continuity to the work the AI Asia Pacific Institute (AIAPI) published in 2021, but adopts a more in-depth focus on Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Australia, and India. The report assesses each country based on the following indicators: best practices; opportunities and challenges; and prospects for collaboration, for the end goal of assessing each country’s unique approach to Trustworthy AI, and identifying mutual grounds as impetus for regional and international collaboration. In this podcast, we will dissect the salient points and key findings from our study, looking closely at Singapore, Japan and South Korea to locate convergence for greater collaboration and coordination amid increasing pressure for regulation and international collaboration to advance trustworthy AI in the Asia Pacific region.
