AI In Action: Exploring Tomorrow's Tech Today
Season 2: Episode 8 - An Interview with Mike Kentz
26 Feb 2024
In this episode, Jim and I welcome Mike Kentz to the podcast to talk about some really great things that he is doing with AI in his classroom and at his school. Mike is a teacher and writer based in Savannah, Georgia. Originally from the New York/New Jersey era, he was a financial journalist at Reuters for six years before switching to teaching in 2016 – when he jumped ship to teach Middle School Writing at a public charter school in Brooklyn -- where he also stayed for six years. He and his wife moved to Savannah during COVID-19 to “try something new” and have been here for three years. Mike also coaches basketball and lacrosse, has a dog and a cat, and can’t decide whether pickleball or tennis is the better racket sport.
