10-Year-Old Invents Ocean-Cleaning Ship, Speaks at UN by 14

From washing his hands after soccer practice to speaking at the United Nations, this is the incredible journey of Haaziq Kazi. At just 10 years old, Haaziq had a world-changing realization while watching water drain from a sink: what if we could pull plastic from the ocean the same way? That moment sparked the invention of a ship designed to clean millions of tons of plastic from our seas. By 11, he was giving TED talks in New York. By 14, he addressed the United Nations.
