Kye is a legendary pro skier who's led the charge in freestyle backcountry skiing for almost 20 years. The son of Trevor Petersen, a 90s extreme skiing icon, Kye became a sponsored skier at just 11 and was skiing in Chamonix by 15, where his father tragically passed. A top name in ski films and magazines, Kye has shaped the sport's evolution. In recent years, he's stepped back to focus on skiing on his own terms while pursuing passions like skateboarding, fishing, surfing, and climbing.
