The Alert Medic 1 team sits down with Amy McGrow, RN, to discuss various topics related to Sexual Assault Forensic Examinations and other topics related to interpersonal violence. Amy McGrow graduated with a BSN from Stevenson University in 2014 and has been an Emergency Department nurse in the Baltimore area for 8 years. She has previously held ED leadership positions at Saint Agnes Hospital as well as Sinai Hospital. She became a Forensic Nurse Examiner Adult/Adolescent at Mercy in 2018, and holds a certification in emergency nursing (CEN), is trauma certified (TCRN), and holds an FNE –A license in Maryland. Amy is passionate about providing excellent care to the unique population of forensic patients and also enjoys disseminating her knowledge of forensic training to area hospitals, EMS and law enforcement.
