The Alert Medic 1 Team had a unique opportunity to sit down with FDNY EMS Deputy Chief Gregg Brady. During the episode, they talk about the largest EMS system in the United States, responding to approximately 1.4 million EMS calls every year. Deputy Chief Gregg Brady has been with FDNY for over 15 years and is currently an EMS Deputy Chief assigned to FDNY EMS Division 2 in the South Bronx. He has also worked as a Firefighter/Paramedic with the City of Kissimmee and operated as a Tactical Paramedic with the City of Kissimmee Police Department SWAT Team. Gregg has additionally worked as a contractor with the Department of State as a high-threat protection specialist/medic in Iraq and Afghanistan.
