On today's episode, the AM1 team sits down with Charlie Pendorff to talk about how we never know when our last shift will happen. Charlie suffered a career-ending injury while on duty and shares what he learned from this unexpected journey. What happens when you have a career-ending injury? Do you have a backup plan if you can no longer work due to that injury? These questions and many more on today's episode. Charlie is a paramedic and former firefighter who suffered a career-ending injury when he least expected it. Prior to his injury, he was a tactical medic, firefighter, and paramedic with a large county fire department. He now teaches in a local paramedic program and works within his family's agricultural business.
