Mike chats with Poets Sammi Walker and RJ Walker. The 30th anniversary of the Salt City Slam is August 26th at 7 pm at The Beehive, 666 South State in Salt Lake. There will be 11 hand-picked poets performing including LeChell “ The Shootah” Rush who is a Brooklyn- born Black queer multidisciplinary artist who creates socially engaging works exploring the complexities and taboos of intersectionality through the lens of queerness, femininity, and mothering in black womanhood. Her Mediums include poetry, photography, film, and collage. Salt City Slam is Utah's longest-running poetry reading.
