On 21 August, 2024, the Lai Ching-te dispensation in Taiwan organised its first edition of the Ketagalan Forum, which was overall the 8th edition of the Indo-Pacific security dialogue. Interesting remarks were presented by participants from 11 countries on supporting Taiwan and its democratic values, as well as shared concerns of regional partners vis-a-vis China.
