Chapter 1: What happens when JD Vance appears on The View?
JD Vance finally makes it on The View. They go after him on race and immigration and it doesn't go well for them. Let's talk about it. Guys, before we get into today's video, please like and subscribe. Today, we're going to be reacting to JD Vance on The View. They go after him on a multitude of things, the economy, the Epstein files, race, immigration.
Today, we're looking at the race immigration part of this conversation.
Chapter 2: How do the hosts challenge JD Vance on race and immigration?
And as you can imagine, JD holds it down and he throws down and at some point leaves Whoopi Goldberg speechless on a point she's trying to make.
I'm a poor community. Sure. You know how hard it has been for people. Two things, you talk a lot about your Catholic faith, but the Catholic faith says we take in immigrants. We take in people who don't have or who are having a hard time. How do you justify both things?
So let me say first a couple things, Whoopi. So number one, the book is actually way less political than you might think if you were just watching this, because obviously we're getting into the issues of the day. 95% of the book is really not about politics. I kind of have to write about politics because I'm the vice president, but I want to answer your question.
So fundamentally, if you think about what is immigration enforcement, immigration is law enforcement. It's somebody who has broken a law. A law enforcement officer has to show up and enforce that law.
Now, inherently, sometimes that process is not always going to be pretty if you capture a video clip of it in the same way that if you arrest somebody for committing a violent or nonviolent crime, sometimes it's not always pretty. What I'm saying is the Catholic faith is actually very it's I think it strikes the right balance here.
It says the Christian faith, I think this is true of Protestants and Catholics, that you can have borders. You're allowed to enforce your borders. That means the law enforcement piece of it.

Chapter 3: What is JD Vance's response to questions about his faith?
But you also have to take certain precautions and certain care, okay?
And again- You can hear just the lawyer in him rebutting the exact points he's trying to make. And it's interesting to, I think, start this conversation about his book and then proceed to
essentially attack him on his faith and say that he's living in incongruence with his faith when as the vice president he's meant to be operating under a separation of church and state so it's kind of a moot point to even begin with but still he has to defend having his face faith-based beliefs and his beliefs on immigration and he's doing well enough at that because as
As we all know, it doesn't matter what your religious beliefs are. Illegal immigration is illegal immigration. And it's caused quite a bit of turmoil in this country and in the West at large. And it's time that somebody came through to do something about it. And this current administration has been doing exactly that.
So we'll see where this conversation goes from here because I have a feeling we're gonna need to pivot from the faith points with his defense of it in this beginning clip.
Your argument is fundamentally whoopee. You're saying that we don't strike the right balance. I disagree with you about how we apply that, but nobody hopefully is saying we're not allowed to have a border. What I'm saying is that in order for us to actually enforce the law, you can't set a standard that says you're not allowed to deport anyone unless they've committed a violent crime.

Chapter 4: How does JD Vance defend his views on immigration enforcement?
You've got to enforce the law equally. No, no, let me do my follow-up. You don't have to raise your hand, Julie.
Let me do my follow-up.
Yes, I do.
Because you were talking about people. What did Black people do to this administration?
Hold up. Let me give you a follow-up on that. I know we were talking about, what, Catholicism and illegal immigration, but what did Black people do to you? I cannot... You know that they're just ready with these points that they probably put together, you know, weeks ahead of him showing up on the show, and this is the best they can do. Think about that.
And then they go and hit their morning meeting before this show, and they go through again exactly what it is they want to say. And this is how it's going for them. What did Black people do to you? I can't wait to hear the answer to this one.
That has allowed it. to really stigmatize folks of color. And you know how hard it is. You have folks of color in your family. So when you see the Emmett Till stuff coming down or them doing all kinds of removal of information of Black heroes, How do you, how do you, how does that sit with you?
Well, what do you, what exactly are you talking about, Whoopi? Because you just, I know Emmett Till was, Emmett Till was the kid.
Oh, and you hear, you hear the audience. Oh, you know what I wish that they could do in these moments on The View? Let's go ahead and pan the camera over to the audience. Give them a microphone, tell one of them to stand up and please make Whoopi's point for her. What exactly is she talking about? And all these people going, oh, you don't know what she's talking about.

Chapter 5: What accusations do the hosts make regarding Black history?
I didn't say that you hate immigrants. Moving on. I need stuff with me, man.
Don't give me a job. Don't start that stuff with me.
i i misinterpreted your question let me answer you oh and he's being so gracious i misinterpreted your question he's really giving them a lot of room here i know you asked me why i'm erasing black leaders and black history and what i have against black people but i of course of course will be i misinterpreted what you asked me actual question there what i'm saying i i think
Okay, look at Washington, D.C. One of the most democratic and one of the blackest, by a share of population, blackest cities in the United States of America has seen a radical decrease in violent crimes and sexual assaults and in murders.
We have tried to take the crime issue seriously in part because we believe everybody, whether you're black or white or rich or poor, deserves to live in a safe neighborhood.
Why does the crime, where does the crime step in? This is not about crime.
Where does crime step in? And when you look at graphs of the United States of America and who experiences the most crime, Black people are up there. And when he talks about Washington, D.C., he's referring to the administration actually sending out the National Guard to Washington, D.C., to police the rampant crime that was happening in the area. And guess what?
After the administration did this, there were tons of black citizens and black families all across Washington, D.C. taking to the internet, making videos, thanking the Trump administration for what they were doing in their communities.
saying, finally, I feel as though my kids can go and play in their front yard and I don't have to worry or look over my shoulder to make sure that they're not gonna get attacked or something else is gonna be happening in the background or somebody's gonna get shot.

Chapter 6: How does JD Vance address claims of erasing Black history?
And that's why when Whoopi Goldberg is pushed on examples for what she's even talking about, she, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, can't think of any. Okay. That about sums up this video, guys. JD Vance did a good job. It's so interesting to see somebody who, whether you like him or not, is kind of an intellectual giant in the way he can go through these conversations.
He's extremely gracious in making his points and rebuttals. And to see these women think they're on the same wavelength as this man. is just astounding to me. But that's the sort of inflated sense of self that you get being a host on The View. The platform elevates that and allows that to take place. The audience, as we saw here today, certainly elevates that and allows that to take place.
And the echo chambers that each of these women lives in allows it to take place. But luckily, J.D. Vance did not. And that's why we have it on tape. Guys, I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments down below. As always, if you disagree with anything I said in this video, do get up and do so respectfully. I encourage healthy debate on this channel.
