Today on Amplify Nursing, we talk with Renee Omoyeni, founder of CompassRN. Renee began her career as a nurse in the US Army. She also has experience working in case management and IV infusion therapy, then went on to earn an MS in Health Education and Promotion. With her passion for mentoring and desire to help others navigate their nursing careers, Renee founded CompassRN as a platform that connects youth to health education and nursing. Renee talks with us about the obstacles she faced in starting her nursing career, her experience with military nursing, the importance of exposing students to nursing at a young age, and her work at CompassRN.
