CDC: Nearly 2.8 million Covid-19 vaccine doses administered

The CDC says nearly 2.8 million Covid-19 vaccine doses have been administrated despite Operation Warp Speed’s goal of 20 million by the end of the year. The White House coronavirus testing czar admits “we need to be doing a better job” with the vaccine rollout. Olivia Troye is a former Covid-19 Task Force Adviser to Vice President Mike Pence and she joins AC360 to discuss the vaccine rollout. Plus, Republican Senator Josh Hawley says he’s planning to delay the affirmation of President-elect Joe Biden’s election victory by objecting when Congress counts the Electoral College votes. This will force lawmakers in both the House and Senate to go on the record and vote on whether to accept the results of Biden’s win.
