Russian jet forces down U.S. drone in “reckless” encounter

The U.S. military says a Russian fighter jet forced down a U.S. Air Force drone over the Black Sea. The White House called Russia’s actions “unsafe, unprofessional and reckless” while Russia’s defense ministry denied its aircraft came into contact with the drone. Retired Lt. Gen. Mark Hertling joins AC360 to discuss how big of a deal this is and if he thinks it’s a deliberate provocation by the Russian military. Plus, the Department of Justice and the Securities and Exchange Commission are opening investigations into Silicon Valley Bank after it collapsed last week.
