He chats with our hosts about the parallels between how he grew up versus how his daughter will grow up, and the thought process that comes along with that. Skyler discusses how the words “I Love You” have always felt like a form of manipulation prior to his relationship with his wife. He opens up about how music and writing became and still are his main outlet to work through his trauma, and how toxic masculinity has had an impact on his life.
