Arabology 7.9 [Mike Massy at Stanford: Interview + Lecture + Music]

This episode (aired March 13, 2014) highlights Mike Massy's Stanford visit and features a live interview, music + audio segments from his lecture in which he discussed Middle Eastern music and gave live vocal demos of various musical genres. The events were made possible via a generous grant by the Stanford Arts Institute + support from the Stanford Language Center, The Sohaib and Sara Abbasi Program in Islamic Studies, Department of Music, The Mediterranean Studies Forum, and The Arab Studies Table.
