This interview focuses on Zeid Hamdan's musical journey and includes rare song excerpts + a live session by Zeid Hamdan at KZSU 90.1 FM (Stanford University). Interview also includes questions by Zalfa Rustom and Stanford student Jin Yun. Throughout this interview, Zeid Hamdan reminisces about his experiences with such artists as Yasmine Hamdan + SoapKills (Arabic trip hop), The New Government (pop rock), Hiba Mansouri(Arabic trip hop), Kanjha Kora (Guineean Pop), Kazamada (Arabic electro pop), Maryam Saleh(Arabic electro pop), Dany Baladi(Arabic electro pop), Maii Waleed, Tamer Abu Ghazaleh, Marc Codsi, Mahmoud Radaideh (Jadal), Zeid and the Wings(New Arabic pop), #Melmo, and Khaled Mouzannar (Capernaum soundtrack). He also discusses his arrest in July 2011 over a song deemed insulting to the Lebanese President where officials reportedly took exception to the lyrics: 'General go home'.
