What has Augmented and Mixed Reality got to do with Architecture?

Whatever happened to QR Codes and overlaid information in the real world?Does Mixed Reality (MR) and Augmented Reality (AR) still play a role in the architectural design and construction of our built environment?So far we have been exploring Architecture in the Metaverse together.
