The biggest factor in this is just that the goaltending (while still not good) has at least somewhat stabilized, and they aren't sinking the ship. Contributions from Blake Lizotte, Philip Tomasino and Michael Bunting have been very welcomed as well. They seem to be getting more regular guys involved in the scoresheet on a nightly basis, but Sidney Crosby's point per game streak may be in jeopardy.
