Leif Mannerström har under 16 år drivit restaurangen Sjömagasinet i Göteborg som sedan 1999 haft en stjärna i Guide Michelin. Han har även släppt ett antal böcker för både amatören och den avancerade gourmeten. Sedan våren 2010 har vi kunnat se Leif Mannerström som en av tre jurymedlemmar i programmet Sveriges mästerkock i TV4.
