I love Wyoming. I went horseback riding with a woman named Eileen to a ridge where we could see the Grand Tetons from a handful of miles away. That's the image for today's episode. I think about this moment a lot. It is probably the furthest I have ever been from our "modern" society. No cell service for hours, making connections with another human, connecting with nature, and just enjoying this once in a lifetime experience. But not in just the context of where I was, but life in general. How strange it is to be at that moment in time, at any point in time, for anyone that has the pleasure to exist and coexist on this planet. How strange it is that two people, one who sits most days in an office (myself) and one who spends her summer wrangling horses on beautiful pastures (Eileen), can share a moment like this. How strange it is that these grand mountains, existing for whatever reason beyond myself, captivate me and stand so tall. How strange it is that this beautiful creature enjoys taking me for a stroll on its back. How strange it is that this is how our ancestors lived normal daily life. How strange it is that everything seems so interconnected. How strange it is that any of this exists at all. How strange it is to be anything at all. Tell me about your strange life: (608) - 856- 4955
