Review recommended criteria for genetic testing of prostate cancer patients, currently available gene panels, and options for testing these men. 2. Explain the importance of testing for germline and somatic mutations and their implications for utilizing PARPi. 3. Describe work flows for genetic testing and utilization of genetic counselors. 4. Describe the genetic counseling process and the importance of pre-test counseling to discuss the benefits, limitations, and potential implications of germline testing for patients and their families.
