I haven't listened to it. I refuse to. There's no ill will, but I refuse to listen to that podcast. Basically, those guys will be doing two weeks of the Aunty Donna podcast.

Chapter 3: What led to Zach's departure from the Auntie Donna podcast?
And that's how we're going to alternate it for now. Yeah, let's talk. I've got a title for this episode, Tom. Yeah. It's my side of the story. Okay. Great. So, as you know, I have parted ways with the Aunty Donna podcast. The reason for that is I made a character a few months ago called Jack Duane. He was sort of a caricature of the people that go to all boys schools.
It was really designed in good fun. It was fun. It was a light sort of ribbing. And that character was a lot of fun and I had a lot of fun playing him. I only intended to do him for a couple of episodes, but we were on a roll and the other two insisted that I kept doing it. I hit a point a few weeks in where I said, I think it's time to wrap this up. It's time to wrap up with this bit, move on.
It's very popular. We were getting comments, you know, generational run, things like that on the Auntie Donna, the unofficial Auntie Donna Reddit, subreddit. And I said, I think we should end on a high here. I think we should go out on a high here. But the guys insisted, let's keep going. Let's keep going. Let's keep going. You've got this, man. They love it. They love Grand Designs Batman.
They love Angelina. They love and they love Jack Dwayne. Let's keep doing this. I agreed. I agreed to keep doing it. And then, um, what do you know? The wolves turned, the audience turned, um, too much of a good thing. And, and, uh, you turned and basically the guys, they sat me down. They sat me down maybe two, three weeks ago. And they said to me, um,
Listen, someone's going to have to take the fall for the two episodes that weren't as good as the other ones. Or the one episode, I think, is when people really turned. One or two. Yeah, two or three. Yeah. Someone's going to have to take the fall. You were the one that drove it with the Jack Dwayne character. We're going to ask you to maybe take that hit.
um i said i'm not going to do that uh oh thanks lucy you can bring that in have you got any tape or anything like that yeah just pop that on there pop that on so if you're not watching the visual version of this um which will be on the patreon we haven't decided the split on the patreon yet lucy's just changed the sign uh to the zach podcast um So basically what happened?
What happened was basically they sat me down. They said, Zach, you're going to take the hit. You're going to take the fall. We need someone to. I said, I'm not going to do that. Not because I don't want to take the fall because I'm not a liar. And they said, well, too bad. Right. We're going to blame you. And I said, well, then you're going to blame me. And it all fell out. And that's fine.
And I'm happy with that. I'm still on good terms with the guys. You know, I don't I haven't talked to them. Since this all went down. But I think that's good. And I think what's good about this is I can be the real me. You know, I had to hold back who I was because of those motherfuckers. I had to hold back the truth of who I am. And now I can talk about my opinions on vaccinations.
I can talk about my opinions on MAGA. I can talk about all those opinions. And that's I'm not a vegan anymore. I eat meat now and I've discovered Jesus. And I'm going to talk about all of those things here on the Zach podcast and more. And that's really exciting. Tom, thank you so much for sticking with me. Yeah.
