In my time as President of the Australian Society of Anaesthetists and since, I have met a few doctors who have had dealings with Ahpra, the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. My general impression is that it is not a pleasant experience. I have also heard many doctors complain about the 14% increase in registration fees this year.In this episode, I chat with Nick Elmitt, Policy Manager at the Australian Medical Association (AMA).
