If you've not listened to Part 1, head back to episode 249 for the first half of the interview.Yuliya is a middle-distance runner who competed for Russia at the 2012 London Olympics and 2016 Rio Olympics. She became an informant for WADA. Vitaly worked for the Russian Anti-Doping Agency. Together they exposed the full extent of the state-sponsored doping programme that eventually led to Russia's exclusion at the Olympics and their fleeing to the US to avoid repercussions.With the Russian ban recently lifted by CAS, the issue of doping is again back in the picture.
