So she's denying the facts of what her own people are saying. And it's funny, Steve, because as much as they are open in saying this amongst themselves, they are desperate to make sure that the majority of American people don't pay attention.
I want to read to you yet another quote. This is from the head of the Mexican news agency. And this is what he said, which I think captures it perfectly. He says, quote, The reconquest of the Aztec territory is silent. And the day the gringos realize this, their diabolical fundamentalism will become macabre. This is a guy, by the way, who's the head literally of like the Associated Press of Mexico. So they're scared and they're nervous. even though they lived here for a week after they were born, they are US citizens and they're gonna be able to vote, they're gonna be able to donate to political campaigns, they're gonna be able to apply for sensitive government jobs, even though they have lived in China their entire life and they're the children of the Chinese elite. So this is a massive manipulation of our immigration system.

We have just seen over the last five years, China has increased their flights around Taiwan by five-fold. They went from over 380 flights in 2020 to 5,700 flights this last year. They're flying across the Taiwan Strait. They never flew across the Taiwan Strait with military aircraft for 60 years. And since 2020, 2020, They're flying a thousand times a year across the strait.
They're doing exercises, firing missiles at Taiwan. The PLA Navy is the largest in the world. They have the most anti-ship cruise missiles in the world. Xi reformed the PLA in 2015. from seven military regions to five theater commands. They have an information support force that they didn't have before that supports all the theater commands.
They have a joint logistics support force that supports the five theater commands. And they are actually expanding their military operations around the world, not just in the Far East, but with the Russians in the Sea of Japan, in the Arctic, in the Mediterranean, down off of South Africa here in the last month.
So what we're seeing from all military evidence is that the PLA is on this trajectory. It's going up. There has no been no declination in any way, shape or form over the last 13 years since Xi has been in power. It continues to increase. And we just saw in the last two weeks, since all this rumors of this alleged coup, Xi is meeting with the prime minister of Canada.

But I think what's so important to understand about the changes on on the CMC, which, of course, follows, you know, significant overhaul. Basically, everybody is is gone now.
The second in command, not just on the CMC, but to Xi Jinping being ousted. I think there's sort of this common misconception that it's the older generals who are really hostile and want to move on Taiwan when in reality it's.
