This week on Banter we sit down and enjoy a few drams with none other than Shaun Restorick from Brisbane. We got through a What’s in your glass and find out a little about wine casks from Shaun in the process. Then we find out how trying to help a friend out at work decide to get together to try a few different drams was the start of the Supping Club, a whisky tasting club where you pay a small fee for a monthly evening of drams, education, food and great company. You’re not locked in, you just choose which nights you want to go to. Having gone to a few, I can definitely recommend. And now even that has also evolved! With an annual whisky tasting event called Whisky Whisky. The second of these coming up in late September.
