Getting Your Dream Internship with Afrika-Ira

In this episode, Amanda Jewell sits down with Afrika-Ira to talk about how she got her dream internship with TBWA/Chiat/Day. Afrika-Ira is a recent 2020 graduate from The University of Texas at Austin and majored in Advertising. Amanda and Afrika know each other from taking an Integrated Communication Management course in the Stan Richards School of Advertising.  The girls talk about working part-time jobs while in school, graduating in 2020, taking classes online, and why they majored in Advertising! Afrika-Ira also graduated in 3 years, so she talks about her heavy course load and work-life balance.  The girls also talk about Law of Attraction, what they've been loving lately, skincare, and more.  Plus they talk about ways the advertising industry can change with Afirka-Ira's passion for more diversity and inclusion in the ad industry.
