How I Healed From My Sexual Assault

I have not been true to myself as I promised that I would be the voice for trauma victims if I ever healed from my sexual assault. I have healed and that is why I am sharing my story three years later. Don't ever let anyone take away your truth. We live in a world where people will do anything to invalidate the victim. But, at the end of the day, YOU know what happened and the predator has to live with that weight on their shoulder. Let the fire inside of you burn brighter than the fire around you.  I have also played into being a part of the problem by not holding men accountable for their actions.
