Nikiya's story is a testament to incredible strength and resilience. At 17 weeks pregnant, Nikiya's concerns for her baby led her to go to hospital which then led to a shocking diagnosis of leukemia. Tragically, at 18 weeks gestation, she experienced the devastating loss of her beloved baby Lexi, all while navigating the profound challenges of her health crisis. Throughout her journey, Nikiya underwent various treatments, including a crucial stem cell transplant. Despite her family members not being suitable donors, Nikiya was incredibly fortunate to find a perfect match from an anonymous male donor in Germany. Nikiya's profound wisdom and deep appreciation for life shine through in this episode.
