Formal observations are one of the things about teaching that really scares us as new teachers. They can send you right into panic mode, even if you have a really supportive administration. Often, the most nerve-wracking part is the feedback that comes after the observation. Critical observation feedback can immediately cause you to doubt your teaching ability.
