Dr. Valery Chirkov is a researcher and professor of Social, and Cultural Psychology at the University of Saskatchewan. Dr. Chirkov holds doctorates in both Industrial Psychology from St. Petersburg State University, Russia, and Social Psychology from the University of Rochester, Rochester, New York. Dr. Chirkov and Nathan cover topics such as Dr. Chirkov's passion for teaching and the need for creativity in Psychological research. When asked if he could leave all of his students with one thing, Dr. Chirkov answered to look at the essence of things and the mechanisms of what is going on and that there is a necessity for intellectual autonomy and creativity.
