We begin in Michigan where a man was killed today after ramming his vehicle into the front doors of Temple Israel Synagogue in suburban Detroit.
Authorities say the crash in turn set off an exchange of gunfire with security officers and a fire ignited in the vehicle during this episode. No one inside the building was hurt. Here is FBI Special Agent in Charge Jennifer Runyon. The FBI is here working with our state, local, and federal partners to investigate this incident.
And I confirm that we are leading the investigation right now as a targeted act of violence against the Jewish community. As my partners have said, this is an active and ongoing investigation with an active crime scene. And I ask for your patience as we process this evidence and pursue every lead that has come to us and that we have developed thus far.
That is Jennifer Runyon, the FBI special agent in charge. Now, Temple Israel describes itself as the largest reform synagogue in the United States. There was a shooting this morning at Old Dominion University in Virginia. One victim is dead, two others injured. The gunman is also dead. University officials say the gunman opened fire in the business school building.
The FBI identified the suspect as an ex-Arby National Guard member, and in 2016, he pleaded guilty to attempting to provide material support to the Islamic State. Here is Dominique Evans, the special agent in charge with the Norfolk field office. The brave ROTC members in that room subdued him. And if not for them, I'm not sure what else he may have done.
But that's exactly, they confronted him and they subdued him and he was no longer able to conduct any further attack. Dominique Evans, the special agent in charge of the Norfolk FBI field office. The Trump administration has launched a second 301 tariff investigation. This will focus on forced labor practices in 60 economies and include the European Union, China and the UK.

The U.S. Navy, perhaps with an international coalition, will be escorting vessels through. That is Treasury Secretary Scott Besson speaking to Sky News. After the bell, Adobe said its CEO Shantanu Nurayan will resign from his position. This company has been facing skepticism about its ability to thrive in the era of AI.
At the same time, Adobe issued a sales forecast for the current quarter just above estimates. Here is Gil Luria, head of technology research at DA Davidson. It's a tough job for the next CEO. So who that person is, whether they're credible in the AI realm will be important. In terms of the message, it just has to be a change of direction. Adobe has really said, look, we're fine on AI.
We're agnostic. We're going to have responsible AI for responsible image and video generation. That message clearly has not resonated with investors. So that message has to be different. That is Gil Luria from D.A. Davidson. Shares in Adobe were down 7% in late U.S. trading. And that is news when you want it. With Bloomberg News Now, I'm Doug Krisner and this is Bloomberg.
