Board Remuneration and Directors Fees in Australia

The governance landscape has incredible heterogeneity, from school boards through to listed companies. This webinar will identify the categories of organisations that pay generous director fees to their board members.Extreme Inequality   There are about half a million governing bodies in Australia, many of which are small and local. Board members contribute a meaningful portion of the total volunteering effort across the country. Less than 10% of board members are paid. Within the organisations that pay their directors, there are several clusters of well-paid roles. These will be identified during the webinar, along with the attributes of prospective directors for these roles
