Bold Perceptions

20 y/o Morman Girl From Utah Moves To Middle East Alone (Shattering Perceptions, Libertarianism)

30 Sep 2021

Description

Today on Bold Perceptions we discuss shattered perceptions with Quinn Driggs. Quinn grew up in Utah and completely broke the mold and traditional routine of her family at 20 years old, moving to the Middle East alone. Because of the opportunities of the wild Wild West that is the modern day social media marketplace, Quinn has a location-dependent business that pays her throughout her life in what most Americans think of as “danger.”Through that process she became extremely interested in the absolute “truth” about the Middle East compared to what religion and news outlets portrayed on the contrary. Different religions and how they are portrayed is the metaphor Nick and Quinn use to talk about the rather overarching theme of broken perceptions and why there are certain routines, rules, common practices, and ways of life taught to us by society. It goes deeper than just a misconception about a religion on the other side of the globe- it relates to everything around you every day.
