Lessons in Chemistry part 6 (Chapter 14-18)

The girlies start off with THEIR FIRST READER MAIL! This is not a drill folks...or is it? After reading their delightful email from Brooke, the sisters discuss why they started the pod and make mention of the ever-elusive mini-series they did on The Fault in Our Stars. We skip bookalytics this episode as no time has passed since Episode 5 in recording time, which means there is more time to muscle through the continued disappointments that plague Elizabeth Zott's life. Bonnie Garmus makes an appearance in her book by asking her readers to not over-analyze every component of her book. Much to Bonnie's dismay, the girlies ignore this advice and continue their journey to uncover every hidden meaning in Lessons in Chemistry. Bonnie throws the girls a bone and introduce the beloved character of Mrs. Sloane, Elizabeth's well-intentioned nosey-neighbor. After some initial hiccups, Mrs. Sloane and Elizabeth become allies in the sea of horrible men.
