Chapter 1: What comments did Boomer make about Dianna Russini and Mike Vrabel?
You made a couple headlines yesterday with your Diana Rossini, Mike Vrabel comments and the pictures that were out there. Al did say on the warm-up show that many people said what you said, but for some reason you were the one that was quoted in all the articles. I found that to be a tad bit disrespectful.
What did I say? I didn't even know this.
The credibility is going to be questioned now in her reporting. And you said, I'm not interested in the salacious part of it. Just going forward, it's a bad look for credibility for a reporter.
Yes, that I would agree.
Yeah, so it's just a bit out of his way. Like, I don't know. I mean, lots of people said this yesterday, but for some reason, Boomer was the one that was.
Oh, okay. Well, I mean, like, if it were Rich Cimini and there was a female head coach for the Jets, you think Rich Cimini would be, you know, would be questioned? Yeah, I mean, anybody.

Chapter 2: Why was Boomer's statement considered disrespectful?
Well, yeah, 100% of it would be the other way around, of course.
Yes, I mean, there's... When you're a reporter and you're caught in these situations, then... Yeah, I mean, and then, of course, yesterday, all of these videos from the past of Diana Rossini talking about her marriage and her husband are on social media.
And there's one where she goes, you know, if I were married to a good-looking person, then I'd post about him more, but I'm married to somebody average.
Yeah.
And then she goes. I think she's trying to be, obviously, she's trying to be funny in those situations.
Okay, okay.
But when you put them all together, yes, I understand where you're going.
She goes, you know who loves to tell me that my marriage is falling apart is my mother. This is what she says. And then she goes, yeah. She's like, oh, I went over to see Kevin, and boy, he looks good. I bet she's got a girlfriend now. Oh, you got this wife of yours who's never home, loves the NFL.

Chapter 3: How does credibility affect a reporter's work in sports journalism?
I was like, oh, great. Thanks, Mom. This is what she says on the radio show.
When I was listening to some of this stuff, I was thinking Rodney Dangerfield. That's what I was thinking because that's exactly what he used to do. Not that she's trying to emulate him, but I'm just saying.
Yeah, I mean, she's not a comedian by any stretch of the imagination. She might be trying to be funny, but there's obviously some truth in there as well.
Were those podcasts that she was doing that on, or were they legitimate interviews? Well, podcasts can be legitimate interviews. No, no, but I'm saying it was like an ESPN. Was it a NFL Network? Was she delivering some sort of breaking news?
I think one of them was with the new Stu Gotts Fox Sports radio show or something. Another one, I think one of them was on Get Up on ESPN.
All right, well, yeah. I mean, so then the other thing, too, is it's like, you know, then The Athletic is going to have an issue eventually.
Well, the guy, you know, had her back there originally, so... Who knows?
I mean, it's a tough one, but it is something that I think is going to continue to have legs throughout the offseason, especially if you see something like maybe one of the – either Diana Rossini's husband or Mike Vrabel's wife come out and say something or maybe – Yeah, but you just know anything that she says about any team now –
In social media, you know, the social media world is basically going to attack. All the Jets fans are going to be... They're going to be attacking left and right.

Chapter 4: What past videos of Dianna Russini surfaced after the comments?
I mean, I wonder if that changes at all. But they put out these statements, which... Whatever. I don't know if you believe it or not. But, I mean, it's just... I understand that there wasn't anything more than what we saw in the pictures. Or we didn't see anything more than what those pictures were with the holding of the hands and the hug and in the pool or whatever. You know, this...
This Jeff Perlman who writes books and has somehow become this TikTok star, he did this – I saw this yesterday, this thing where he was like, if I were covering a coach and went to a resort where the coach was and he told me to get in the pool with him, I was like, oh, it's hot. I'm going to cool down. I'm going to get in the pool. Maybe I go and get in the pool with him.
And I'm like, how is that – It's not the same.
Chapter 5: What humorous remarks did Dianna make about her marriage?
The same. Unless – Unless there was gay stuff. Yeah.
But, you know, Mike Vrabel married, if that were Jeff Perlman, nobody would really be like, oh, wow, it seems like you're cozy with the coach maybe. But, like, nobody's thinking that the two of them are stooping. You know what I mean?
Yeah.
It's not really an apples to apples thing. I was legitimately trying to think about, like, reporters that I knew when I played. that were close to me. You know what I mean? Like, kind of friendly. Yeah. And there was a, would you ever let your guard down around anybody? I can only think of really one guy when I was in the NFL that I would have been like that with, and that was Peter King. Okay.
And, you know, Peter King was a great guy, and he always was fair. Even when he was covering me on a daily basis and it wasn't pretty, I always felt like he was fair. You know, I'm not saying the guys here aren't fair. I think they're fair here too, maybe a little bit more opinionated.
But I always felt like Peter tried to get to the bottom of whatever the accurate story was around the game of football.
You know what I mean? Yeah, of course. Would you hug him and look into the mountains? Lovingly?
No. No, you wouldn't? No. Would you hold hands?
No, I wouldn't. Would you hop into shared water?

Chapter 6: How are media outlets reacting to the controversy surrounding Dianna Russini?
colon, Vrabel scandal will cast doubt on Diana Rossini's integrity. Everyone wants to please Boomer.
Jesus. Yeah, there's a lot of them here. Yeah, well, I mean, that's the thing to me that I would worry about for her. That's for sure, unfortunately.
Well, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Yep.
