Chapter 1: What news is good for the New York Giants?
All right, we got news and it is good for the New York Giants. The Green Bay Packers, according to Adam Schefter, are expected to work out a deal in the coming days to keep head coach Matt LaFleur in Green Bay. So that just came across right now. Two minutes ago, Adam Schefter reporting on the future of Matt LaFleur in Green Bay. That obviously would have been a ready-made job.
Step in, John Harbaugh, different conference, young quarterback, legacy franchise, all these things. Yeah. And now it's not open.
Chapter 2: Why is Matt LaFleur's future with the Packers significant?
So the only other one you really might have to worry about is the Philadelphia Eagles and Nick Sirianni. And now that could be something that John Harbaugh wants to go to. So now you're competing against a potential open job in Philadelphia. Steven Ross being a crazy person. Those are the two big ones right now. And I feel this morning it's coming up giants again.
Well, here's the deal. If you take the Philadelphia job, are you accepting the staff that's already there? No. So you're wiping everybody out. Yeah. Okay. Because they've done this before. They kept the head coach, wiped out the staff, and brought in the coordinators.
Yeah, well, I think the offensive coordinator is going to be gone 100%. Now, Vic Fangio is there. Maybe John Harbaugh would want to keep Vic Fangio. I don't know. But I would not fire Nick Sirianni. I think there's... Just remember who's got a lot of say in that building.
It's Howie Roseman. Well, he's got all the say in the building. John Harbaugh may want to have some say. John Harbaugh may want to collaborate. John Harbaugh is going to want to have some impact.
Well, which Joe Shane, by the way, has done a very nice job, at least according to the reporting. Joe Shane has been on the phone recruiting John Harbaugh hard and saying, listen, I want to work with you. You could have him put on a roster. I'm all about it.
We got the ultimate respect, which is the way he should be thinking because John Overell coming to the Giants is more job security for him because if the Giants play well, they're not going to get rid of Joe Shane. And having a good head coach is going to help them play well.

Chapter 3: What potential job openings are there for John Harbaugh?
So, yes, that is true because Howie Roseman, that's a guy you're not ā I mean ā He already lost his job there once. They demoted him. They demoted him. And then, yeah, and then he came. That was during Chip Kelly, yes. I mean, Howie Roseman, he's the guy. If I could pick one guy to be in the charge of my franchise in the NFL, it's 100% Howie Roseman. John Lynch? No, it would be Howie Roseman.
I like John Lynch. I do like John Lynch a lot.
Who doesn't like John Lynch?
But, I mean, Howie Roseman's actually got it done twice.
All right. All right, it's time for the Electric Play of the Week, and it's sponsored by Cooper Electric. Our knowledge is electric.

Chapter 4: How could the Philadelphia Eagles impact coaching decisions?
The Electric Play of the Week for me, there were two of them, but I'm going to give it to Juwan Jennings and the reverse pass to Christian McCaffrey that resulted in a key touchdown for the 49ers. That's what I call an electrifying play. Okay, very good. It was either that or Colby Parkinson, the tight end for the Rams, when he makes that catch down the right sideline. Just one play.
But I can only give one play. You can only give one play. And when you get as many people involved in that play the way that the 49ers did.
Yeah.
That's electric.
Yes. And by the way, my generator from Cooper Electric, the wonderful Kohler generator, I have 20 kilowatts. Yeah. It cycles through like once a month. Yes. Make sure the engine's lubricated and everything.
It's all about lubrication with those things.
And so I went outside, you know, a cup of coffee while I was doing it and just stared at it like a man, you know. Yeah. I was just out there like rubbing my belly with a cup of coffee, making sure everything's working good, you know, scratching my ass. You're welcome. Mm-hmm. I said, man, all right. You're all buttoned up. Everything's good. Everything's good out here.
You got your life insurance?
I mean, yes, Mr. Ethos. Okay. Just making sure. I mean, it's amazing. You coming up on the TV screen at the Portly Villager, it was almost as if, like, breaking news, an asteroid is coming. Like, everybody goes, oh! And I was like, what the hell? I was like, it's Bonner! I'm like, yeah, he does a life insurance commercial. Yes. Big deal, you know? It is a big deal. Yeah.

Chapter 5: What role does Joe Shane play in the Giants' coaching search?
She was great, yeah.
Amazing director. All right, so yeah, Matt LaFleur, according to Adam Schefter and the Green Bay Packers, working towards a deal to keep him in Green Bay, even after that horrible loss that he had there with the Chicago Bears. I would have kept him. I'd keep Nick Sirianni as well. But I still think there's a chance that Sirianni goes, and there was definitely a chance that LaFleur was going to go.
But this is good now. This is really good for the Giants. Really, really good. And I read earlier that Ian O'Connor, who is a guy that just doesn't throw stuff around, he's not one of those guys who's just... Credible. I mean, he is a credible guy, but he's not just one of those guys that's out there trying to get clicks and everything else. I think he wrote a book with John Harbaugh, didn't he?
He... I don't know if it was a full book. But anyway, he said, as the Giants prepare to close on John Harbaugh in the coming days... For New York Giant fans wanting to learn who he is, where he came from, what makes him tick. I visited his home in 2016, and he wouldn't start the interview until he routed me in some competition. So this was just an article that he wrote.
He did a piece on him in 2016. So, all right. It was ping pong, by the way, I think.
Okay, well, if it does happen, like we were surmising last week, it's the perfect thing for the Giants. It is the perfect, legitimate, credible, CEO-type head coach that will bring in the staff and hopefully get the most out of Jackson Dart, and as we saw on the sideline of the Ole Miss game, Jackson Dart basically mouthing it's either Stefanski or Harbaugh.
Well, yeah, that's right. We did. We saw that, and it was clear as day what he was saying.
Has Jackson's dad said anything on his podcast?
He has not. The last we heard from him, he was telling Danny Connell to eat a fat one. I don't think we've heard from Brandon Dart since. but that's the last we've heard. For everybody out there, all these Giants fans, they think that I hate the Giants for some reason.
