Chapter 1: What was the outcome of the Miami of Ohio vs. SMU game?
The True TV guys were in Dayton for the first four where Miami of Ohio got back to their winning ways. This place is ready to erupt. Scaljack for three. Oh, you got it. Yes, he did. That was Luke Scaljack with the three-pointer part of Miami of Ohio's 89-79 win over SMU as they do advance into the first round. Here was Travis Steele, the Red Hawks head coach, great student and fan support.
Number one, really appreciated all the Miami fans showing out tonight. In a lot of ways, it was a home game for us. It's such a unique opportunity to come watch an NCAA tournament game when we're only 50 minutes away from campus. So very, very appreciative of that. And that St. John's-Northern Iowa game out in San Diego is going to be packed. That's stupid. I'm sure St.
Chapter 2: How did Travis Steele describe the fan support for Miami of Ohio?
John's will have, I would think, a few hundred people will make the trip. Yeah, I mean, the families will make the trip and some of the big supporters, of course. But I'm just saying, like, you know, play within, you know, 50 miles of the school. Yeah. Minko on that plane? He is. No, I think they flew commercial, him and BT. All right. I don't believe so. You've got to throw Minko on that plane.
Well, I saw BT post the photo. He was on the team bus going to practice yesterday. Okay. So they're there. I do know that. They have arrived. Then they're going out for drinks after practice. You have a bottle of Tito's with them? Go for it. Why not? After practice, yeah. You don't remember the story of last year? You played it. Oh, got it. Yeah, yeah. Well, that's the Patino thing at the bar.
Yeah. That you were playing. Yep. Yeah, yeah.
Chapter 3: What emotions did Maxx Crosby experience when he learned about his trade?
Did you know that it was Gio that called in? I did not until this morning. No, I did not. And he played it, too. And I was like, oh, man. I was like, you're going to know. Yeah, no, I had no idea. They're going to know. Matter of fact, I remember where I was listening to that driving home. Yeah. And I made sure I made a mental note of the time so I wouldn't forget it the next morning.
It'd be easy to go back and get. Yeah. Wow. I thought you were on it. I really did. I thought you were on it for sure. You said something in that update too that made me think that you were on it. No. I had no idea it was you. I think I might have made fun of the accent the guy was talking with. Something like that, yeah.
Yeah, that's possible because even when you played it back, I'm like, my God, you really went heavy with that Brooklyn, New York sound. But no, I did not pick up on it. With this TSA shutdown and everything that's going on, these long security lines, they couldn't put Minko on that plane. That guy's got to be sitting in four-hour security lines to fly commercial out there to San Diego.
If there were. There were no security for me last week. You think he's got TSA pre-check? No. Minko? You think he's got clear? No. Walking down that line with that briefcase. Well, you need it for all the travel for the season, but I'm impressed he's got a passport. Isn't L.A. you out there, too? Yeah, I think so. Do you think St. John's and L.A. you shared a plane? No, they did not.
Not a chance. Why wouldn't you save some money? Because they probably have the band on the plane.

Chapter 4: What unusual travel arrangements did Maxx Crosby face after his trade?
They probably have the cheerleaders on the plane. They probably have donors on the plane. You get your own plane. Get your own plane, will you? Yeah, get your own plane. Get off my plane. So they're going to play Tennessee, not St. John's, but Miami of Ohio will play Tennessee tomorrow, and Prairie View beat Lehigh 67-55. They will take on Florida tomorrow. What is the Prairie View mascot, Eddie?
Do you know? I think it's some sort of a cat. I would guess Panthers, but I am not sure. I know Lehigh is the Mountain Hawks. Here we go. Somebody's checking now. I am. The Prairie View. Panther. It's a panther. Why did you think it was a cat? Because I remember seeing somewhere their logo probably recently. Isn't a panther a cat family? Yeah. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. But he's right.
I'm just wondering why he thought that. Because he knows all of these colleges. Not all of them. Most of them. He knows, I would say, 90%. Yeah. Yeah. You know what I love? What do you love? I love when you ask a question and sit there and let the rest of us look it up. Yeah. And there's dead silence as we all try to search for your answer. I really do love that.
Oh, I mean, I do have the seniority around here. No, I know. I mean, it's just, here we go. What's a Prairie View basket? Everybody. That's like all the board meetings.
Chapter 5: Why was Maxx Crosby concerned about the medical evaluation process?
What's up, Mr. Ruber? You know where Prairie View is? Texas. Oh, okay. Correct. Yes, he knows all with the college best. So today you've got Ohio State and TCU, the first of the 16 games that will be played. That'll be just after 12 p.m. You've got LIU Arizona tomorrow, Hofstra Alabama. UConn will play Furman late tomorrow night. That game in Philly and, as you were talking, St.
John's Northern Iowa in San Diego. The Nets lost to the Thunder 121-92. OKC now 55-15 as they have won 10 straight. We heard from Max Crosby. on this botched deal with the Ravens. So I went and watched, I haven't gotten through all of it, but I caught a lot of his podcast that I think was, today's what, Thursday? I think it was Tuesday it got released.
So first things first, here was Crosby talking about what a wild ride it was, you know, finding out he was traded from the Raiders to the Ravens. It was probably, I mean, I've gone through some in my life, I can't lie, but that whole situation was probably one of the most Unique, crazy, wild, up-and-down roller coaster I've ever been a part of.
And then here was, he says, the reaction when it finally did happen that he was getting traded to Baltimore. It was a mixture of excitement, shock. Unknown. Unknown. Like, I'm really about to leave the Raiders. You know what I mean? All those things are hitting you at once. You're like, holy s**t. So it's just a mixture of emotions. So I kind of froze up. All right, so fair enough.
So now he gets on a plane, essentially, and this part of it is where he doesn't say it, but he's intimating. Things are starting to feel a little weird. I get to the hotel. But no, this is the other part. They picked me up. They flew me to D.C., Because there wasn't many flights. We flew first class. They flew me to D.C. because I was only straight through. We had to drive two hours from D.C.
all the way to Baltimore after the five-hour flight, bro. That shit was weak.

Chapter 6: What were the reactions to Maxx Crosby's physical exam results?
He says that was weak. Would you have not expected a private plane? Baltimore Airport doesn't have a lot of flights to it. Right, but there's no private... I don't know. I would have thought they would have put them on a private plane. I'm sure Steve Machadi has a private jet, of course. And they probably could have done that service, but they flew them first class to Reagan National.
Or they could have flew them into Dulles. It was one of those two airports. They did fly him back private later. Which is weird, right? Yeah. They bring him out on a commercial flight. Maybe he might have been flying about the two-hour drive like this is ridiculous. You know, the traffic is insane down there. Yeah, but I'm just saying at that point he didn't know he was flying back.
I'm thinking they probably flew him to Dulles, which is in Virginia, which is outside of D.C. Maybe. And then they had a drive from Dulles because that was the only straight flight from Vegas if that's where he was. And then he had to take a, yeah, it was probably, as the crow flies, probably about 35, 40 miles. But like around here, traffic and timing and everything else led to a two-hour drive.
So he got there and, you know, it was late because of the time difference, losing the three hours coming west to east. Next day he gets up, he works out. Then they send him for the MRIs and everything. Now he's around the building. Then this is another one where it's starting to feel weird because where is Eric DaCosta in all this? I didn't get to see the GM at all.
I thought I was going to see him when I first got there. I didn't see him for five hours. So he didn't come out the whole time you're testing or doing your physical. Everyone's talking about the GM never came once out to see you. And I don't know why. I'm not going to speculate. I didn't see him one time. I even asked the girl. I was like, where's the I was like, where's Eric at?
Like, I want to say, you know what I mean? Like, he just made the trade like. I didn't see him. And so finally, after all of the testing is done, now he's around the facility, and now he's looking for Jesse Minter. He finally gets to Minter, the new head coach, as he gets to his office. I'd dap him up. And I could just tell, like, the energy was a little bit off.
And the GM was standing, like, the hall, like, in the room next to me to the right. And that was the first time I seen him.

Chapter 7: How did Maxx Crosby feel about the communication from the Ravens' management?
And, you know, I'm just in my head, like, I'm just, this is a whirlwind. Like, I'm so excited, like, fired up. You know what I mean? Like, this is a new opportunity, whatever. And you could just tell the energy was off. Like, I dapped him up. He had, like, a blank face.
So they know there's a problem, clearly, and that's when they tell him something happened with the... The doctors didn't like what was going on with the test that he just took. So after hearing that news... I was terrified. Because I'm thinking in my head, like, what the f***? Like...
i just had like neil's neil elitrosh best surgeon in the country like the best of the best and then so why is there an issue and then this is very interesting at the end he talks to elitrosh i get back to the hotel bro i'm like what the is going on like what what does this mean like i'm calling whatever then i talk to neil neil calls me and he called me way down he's like max
Don't listen to any of that s**t. He's like, your knee is great. So Neil Otrash is also the doctor that operated on Aaron Rodgers. Right, right, right. Right. So Neil is a great surgeon. There's no question about it. And he's like a go-to guy in the NFL. And if Neil gives you a seal of approval, it should be good enough. I mean, his whole reputation depends on it.
He went on to say he was ahead of schedule. Yeah, but what I'm saying is the doctor's reputation depends on that. Right, right, right. On giving the proper diagnosis, doing the proper surgery, and then saying, yes, he's going to be fine. Well, what it sounds like is they had made the decision that they were going to back out of this trade before the physical. Right.
That's what the timeline is saying. Maybe the reaction that people had to the trade or maybe ā Or you wonder, like we were talking the other day, did the owner say, you gave up what to get this guy? That's what I'm saying. And maybe the owner was influenced by somebody in his inner circle. Like, could happen. Like, you gave up two first-round draft picks for a guy with a bad knee?
What are we doing here? So, very interesting. Now the question is, in this interview, they asked ā
max today still think he was going to be traded yeah i'm just up to this part because it's an hour i'm going through it as fast as i will say i watched a bunch of it and he said i'm where i need to be so it sounded to me he's staying that he's staying but i thought he was the one that was asking for the trade he was until this happened you know what i mean like would you re-engage the cowboys if you are the raiders
I don't know. It sounded to me that he wants to stay now. That's what he said. He's like, I'm where I need to be. So I haven't seen that yet, but I have read those quotes. It sounds like, like G says, kind of happy. And they made a lot of moves, too.

Chapter 8: What does Maxx Crosby think about his future with the Raiders?
Man, I know they did. They've been going 100 miles an hour, spent a lot of money in free agency. And they're going to get the number one overall quarterback, and I think they've got a terrific head coach. So, you know, maybe it's better that he does stay. The Eagles did acquire ā I'll go through the rest of it over the next half hour. The Eagles did acquire Andy Dalton from the Panthers.
Spring baseball today, the Yankees split their squad. They will play the Orioles in Tampa, the Blue Jays in Dunedin. Mets will take on the Astros. We're a week away from the start of the season, oh, by the way. And the Devils did beat the Rangers 6-3. Jack used a goal and two assists, as Boomer highlighted last hour. Continues to own the blue shirts. Nico Heashier scored his 24th.
Rangers, Blue Jackets tonight. The Islanders take on the Senators.
