Chapter 1: What coaching changes are expected during Wildcard weekend?
We've talked a ton about Jim Harbaugh, John Harbaugh, the Dolphins job opening up, what's going to happen with the Giants. I have settled on the fact right now that Kevin Stefanski is going to be the Giants head coach. John Harbaugh is going to be with the Miami Dolphins. There is a scenario, and I'll give you a little bit of hope because the NFL is absolutely crazy.
If the Green Bay Packers lose and lose in decisive fashion to their biggest rival, the Chicago Bears, have been chatter around Matt LaFleur, then maybe, just maybe, they fire Matt LaFleur, and then that would be the number one choice for the New York Giants if John Harbaugh was going to go to the Dolphins. But this is something I thought might be settled today.
you know, before the weekend or right after the weekend, it's not going to be. This is going to now take probably all of next week before we find out what happens. And I also don't think that it's absolutely out of the question that if the Eagles lose, that Howie Roseman might go out and approach John Harbaugh about that particular job.
But I think what you're going to see is Stephen Ross offer John Harbaugh one of the most ridiculous contracts you've ever seen in professional sports.
Yeah, and the Eagles are not going to do that. They don't have to do that. They've won championships recently. And plus, I'm sure Howie and John Harbaugh probably have a reasonably good relationship, I would imagine.
But still, I mean, if you have your opportunity to work with the general manager that you want to work with, and you have an owner who is desperate to bring you in, like I thought the Giants would be with Harbaugh or Stephans, because they need ā this is the inflection point I keep telling you about the Giants ā
and you have an owner that's willing to spend the amount of money and go the amount of years and give him the amount of control that he wants, he would want what Kyle Shanahan has out in San Francisco, plus twice the money. And I'm telling you, just knowing Steven Ross the way I do and just talking to him about different things that he has accomplished in his life,
He's built an apogee down there, the golf course down in Florida. He's doing a lot of different things. He's always got things going in the mix. But the one thing that he wants, he wants to be able to stand on the top of the football world and be relevant in that way. And in order to do that, he has the same opportunity that the Giants have right now at this moment.

Chapter 2: How might John Harbaugh's potential move impact the Giants?
And I would also say the Atlanta Falcons have this moment in time.
Yeah, they don't have a general manager there either, so it's a clean slate, good owner. But this is where the football stuff doesn't matter as much because it's still, you look at the New York Giants, forget about the wild card teams right now if one of those jobs opens, but the Giants still have the best situation.
of the jobs that are open because of Jackson dart and some of the other things we have mentioned, but it's going to come down to a point where John Harbaugh is going to say, working with a guy that I know, picking a general manager, a bigger offer, no state income tax, great weather, and an owner that's going to just bend over backwards for me.
And that I know and trust because him and my brother have been so closely connected. It's a no brainer.
100% flying the ointment spot for the Giants. 100%. Yeah. I mean, the Giants have the history ā legacy, that kind of thing. I just think that the offer is going to be too good and too many things falling into place for John Harbaugh to go work with a guy that he worked with most likely at the Ravens, who is now part of Jim Harbaugh's staff out there at the Chargers.
And it's the right time, the right moment, the right desperation. It just seems now that seems to me too good to be true.
Yeah, I mean, we were talking about the Giants being the perfect fit, and then, well, it was, you know, for the teams that were available, and it feels like it is not now. I read you the Jordan Renan stuff earlier in the show where he said that the Giants are going to do absolutely everything they can to get John Harbaugh. However, this is before the Dolphins' job had opened up.
If Miami or Tampa opens up, then it's going to be over for the Giants. I still think the Giants aren't going to give up. I think they're going to try to do whatever they can to get him. I just don't think it's going to be enough. I don't think they're giving up right now. I don't think they're in that building right now. I know.
They're not going to give up. But I'm just saying, if you're John Harbaugh and Stephen Ross comes knocking on your door and says, what do you want?

Chapter 3: What factors contribute to John Harbaugh's decision-making?
They were a team that everybody's looking at as going to the Super Bowl. You've got the Bears coming up out of nowhere and winning the division and hosting this playoff game. If they get trounced by the Bears and I could see a change happening, now I'm not saying that that's going to happen.
You know how I like to do pressure points?
You love a pressure point.
I love a pressure point. When I think about the playoffs that are unfolding right now and who's playing who, there is one guy that is under, in my eyes, one quarterback under more pressure than any other quarterback as we head into wildcard weekend, and that is Jordan Love.
Really? Yeah. I was going to say Josh Allen. Because Josh Allen has to.
Josh Allen has been so much to the Bills. But I'm just saying he's got to win at some point. But the point being is he doesn't have a top-tier defense. You know, the defense is one of the worst against the run. Jacksonville's going to try to run it down their throat. Jacksonville's won eight in a row. The Packers were 9-7-1. I understand that.
But a Jordan Love came so close last year, and they didn't do it. And that's why they traded for Micah, thinking, okay, now we're going to take the next step. And now Jordan Love got hurt at the end of the year, hasn't played in three weeks. He's got to go on the road. They've got to go play in Chicago. Aaron Rodgers owned that team for the years that he played there.
And this is, to me, right now the biggest moment in Jordan Love's career. And by the way, look at who his backup quarterback is and what the backup quarterback has done for that team since he goes in and plays.
Yeah. Yeah, I do think, though, that without Patrick Mahomes there, the number one seed being the Denver Broncos that people don't necessarily believe in as much, the New England Patriots, the knock on them, they haven't played a lot of people, it just feels like... Man, no Baltimore Ravens in there as well. Josh Allen's got to get to the Super Bowl.
