How to Have Less Stress & More Energy

21 Dec 2022

Description

Episode Summary:Right now, we are living in an epidemic of stress and anxiety. And it’s especially high around the holidays because we have so much to do.We get caught in a vicious cycle of pushing ourselves to get more done. And the busier we get, the more stressed we feel. As a result, our energy gets low, and we accomplish less. But, instead of resting, we push harder to try and get more done. And the cycle continues…What we REALLY need is to slow down and take some time for self-care. We often feel like self-care is self-indulgent or selfish. We think it takes time AWAY from other people who need us or projects we need to accomplish. In reality, taking time for ourselves relieves stress and resets our energy, making us more productive and present for the people in our lives. In this episode, we’ll talk about self-care, why you need it so much, and exactly how you can get it.“Your thoughts become actions, and your actions create your outer reality that creates your life.” - Sarah HaasHighlights02:45 Getting Caught in a Vicious Cycle04:15 Addressing the Stigma of Self-care10:30 The Phobia of Laziness16:10 Changing Your ActionsImportant Links:Get on the VIP list for the Free 5-Day Break Up With Sugar Challenge, coming in 2023: https://sarahhaaswellness.lpages.co/break-up-with-sugar-challenge/Website: sarahhaaswellness.comFacebook: Sarah Haas WellnessInstagram: @sarahhaaswellnessYoutube: Sarah Haas WellnessThanks for Listening:Thanks so much for listening to my podcast!
