2025 BRITISH GP | British bias is real (and pathetic)

08 Jul 2025

Description

Ep. 19: Round 12 sees the 75th British GP take place at Silverstone, with Lando Norris getting gifted the top step. Oscar Piastri suffered some British bias after his commanding lead was wiped away with a 10-second penalty harshly awarded for his safety car restart. The Aussie felt he didn't do any wrong and had his win taken away from him. We stand with Osc.Meanwhile, after 239 grand prix starts, Nico Hulkenberg finally snatched his first Formula 1 podium and stole the limelight from the McLarens! He, along with his Sauber team, played the race perfectly and took advantage of every opportunity after starting in 19th. Despite Max Verstappen again showing his unbelievable racing craft in taking pole position on Saturday, the Red Bull struggled on Sunday and left him in a spin. He still managed to recover to 5th and remains in the title fight, even if distant.A Pommy has won at Silverstone 25 times from 75 races now. Someone needs to look into that. Spa is up next, and we're excited to see Piastri come back stronger and fiercer after a disappointing weekend in England.0:00 - SPEED RUN: The British GP review2:00 - THE LOBBY: Piastri's Penalty, British Bias, Hulkenberg Podium19:36 - TROPHIES & ACHIEVEMENTS: Awards from the British GP52:33 - DRIVER RANKINGS: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond1:01:52 - SUNDAY SESH: The 2008 British GP#f1 #podcast #britishgp #oscarpiastri #nicohulkenberg #landonorrisLIKE, FOLLOW & SUBSCRIBE!Subscribe: https://youtube.com/@boxboxbanterpod?si=pVBO2cFSX2SYvN3CTikTok: tiktok.com/box.box.banterInstagram: instagram.com/boxboxbanterEmail: [email protected]
