Series 6, Episode 3: Maryam Shaharuddin

A theatre facilitator, Maryam co-creates performances with participants. She works at a range of organisations including Angel Shed, Kiln, Almeida, Bush, Company Three and the The National Theatre. She is an Associate Artist at Coney, focusing on playful activism. As a researcher she has worked on Positively Past Positively Present (PositivelyUK & Central School of Speech & Drama) and The Book of Knowledge (The Bridge & Kings College, University of London) exploring arts and women’s health. She is a mentor for Tamasha’s Creative Wellbeing Lab, sharing her facilitation practice. Joy and play are at the heart of creating inclusive, socially engaged theatre.
