In this episode, we are diving into why we get reactive in our relationships and how to shift into responding instead of reacting. Being reactive is often defined as "being triggered" or "being activated". It is when our emotions are high and our ability to communicate or think clearly is decreased. Being responsive is when we are emotionally grounded. It is when we are able to think through and feel through what is going on for us, as well as what direction we ultimately want to move in, and then being able to communicate that to the other person.
