Breakups, Broken Hearts, and Moving On with Janice Formichella

17. Why Do I Only Think About The Good Times?

09 Mar 2021

Description

If the relationship wasn’t working and needed to end, why do we often dwell SO much on the good times after a breakup? Well, our minds can play tricks on us during the grieving process, and remembering the good times doesn’t necessarily mean the relationship itself was good. From science to our own personal experiences and a couple of acronyms along the way, we will let you know why this common breakup dynamic occurs. More importantly, we will let you know what you can do to speed up this phase of your healing journey. A lot of people go through this and we want to support you in recognizing that it is normal and okay and learn some positive ways forward. And, we want to hear what you think of our take on remembering the good times or an experience you have had with it. Head over to the podcast Instagram @exphilespodcast and follow Clair @clairlofthouse and Janice @Janiceformichella. If you’d like to join our online community, find us on Facebook at Breakups, Broken Hearts, and Moving On.  We want to know you and for you to know us!
