In this episode, I welcome Pavna Sodhi, a psychotherapist, author, speaker, and adjunct professor in Ontario. She is the author of Trauma-Informed Psychotherapy for BIPOCCommunities: Decolonizing Mental Health . We discuss neurodiversity, what it is, some of the causes, as well as how it impacts our lives, personally and professionally. We explore how Internal Family Systems conceptualizes it, and shared reflections from our lived experience, with a special focus on the South Asian community, the challenges and needs within our community.
