Teddy Owens - Honesty, Consistency, And Building A Culture Through Relationships

#11: Current Holland Hall head men's basketball coach Teddy Owens. Over the last few years, he has built his team into one of the best high school basketball programs in the state of Oklahoma. Coming off back to back to back state tournament appearances, he shares some of the principles and lessons that he has learned throughout his coaching experiences. Coach Owens has had a chance to learn under some of the best coaches in college basketball, which goes back to his time at Oklahoma State with Eddie Sutton, OU with Lon Kruger, Nebraska with Tim Miles, and even his own father Ted Owens. In this show he talks about being great where you are, honesty, consistency, understanding your players, buy-in, and building a culture through relationships. He talks about how faith has played a key role in his life and what truly matters. There is a reason why Coach Owens has not only done so well, but has also been able to sustain it.
