When we think about future self and all of the goals we want to achieve, we tend to look at the end goal, not so much the journey. Unfortunately for us, delayed gratification doesn't tend to come naturally. Focusing on the finish line means that we don't always achieve the results we want because we can get in our own way. But building a habit is exactly that—building.
